David Block

David Block serves as Vice President, Chief Operations Officer at Sanders Morris with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He joined Sanders Morris in 2013. Prior to this, Mr. Block served as Director of Operations Support at NFP Advisor Services Group where he was responsible for designing and controlling the customer experience at the broker dealer for over 300 advisors. He also sat on numerous planning and strategic committees while employed there. Prior to his role at NFP, Mr. Block worked for ProTrader Securities as Manager of Proprietary Trade Desk where he was responsible for the day-to-day trade operations including surveillance and compliance. In addition, he worked as an advisor for PaineWebber helping clients identify and achieve their financial goals. He holds Series 7, 11, 24, 55, and 63 licenses. Mr. Block received a BS in criminology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
